Premium Cork All-in-One Yoga Essentials Kit -Large Cork Yoga Mat and Blocks Set

Fairly new to a regular yoga practice, I was just using a cheap, old foam yoga mat. This upgraded set is fabulous! It has plenty of cushion, lays flat, has good grip and I love the reference markers to ensure I'm evenly spaced. The blocks are a huge benfit aiding with balance on those half-splits and providing a place to rest my head on forward folds. I look forward to using my cork set every day!

I was a little nervous about spending extra on this mat, especially as a beginner, however after using it, I couldn't be happier with my decision. Great size, the markings help with alignment, materials feel premium, thickness sufficient to use on laminate flooring comfortably.

Great yoga mat. Feels kind of heavy duty, doesn't slip around, big size, comfortable to use.

Love the non slippery cork feeling when I do my floor stretching exercises.

A lot nicer than I expected for the price! The mat is comfortable yet lightweight. I don’t slip like I do on poly mats. The blocks are also super cute in the cork. I find the lines on the mat really helpful in realigning during certain poses.

This is a great set. I love that it uses natural materials and it is actually non-slip! I've tried a lot of different yoga mats and even with sweaty feet and hands I don't slip with the cork. The blocks are very nice as well and much firmer than the typical foam ones. The strap is good quality and super long. There was a slight smell which dissipated after letting it air out for a day or so. I do think the ends curl up a bit more than the foam yoga mats but letting it lay flat when I can has helped. Love love love this product

I love cork mats. I have one and bought this one for my wife, and it's even better than mine as it's thicker and more caring to your knees. Plus, it has these alignment lines - those are great for beginners. The blocks are perfect: stable and heavy. The carry strap and stretch strap are of good quality and look very sleek. I'm very grateful for this kit. Love and light!

LOVE this set! The cork yoga mat is is stable, great quality, and comfortable on my sensitive knees. The first use was a slightly slippery but after a few uses, it has a great grip. Would highly recommend.

This kit comes with everyone one could possibly need starting out doing yoga. The main mat is comfortable without being too plushy (I found it hard to hold poses with the thicker kind). The material is durable and I know will last a very long time. I'm very glad to know that this yoga mat won't roll back into itself once rolled out and bunch up - that was frustrating with my last yoga mat. Also, having the centering markers is awesome, as with poses I was always concerned if I was at just the right angles.I love the included d ring, strap and cork blocks too. It really makes it easier to feel confident and actually relax my body into a pose using the cork blocks. They are very high quality made - the whole kit is. I would recommend this 10/10 it's an excellent value.

This is an incredible set for getting into superior-performing and environmentally-friendly cork yoga accessories. You get a really nice mat, a set of two very solid and pleasing bricks, and some incredibly tough woven straps that should last basically forever.The mat is 6-feet long, tall enough for most people to lie down fully, though not everyone, and although its 26-inch width is a little slimmer than some it was enough for me to use quite comfortably. The cork layer itself is thin but supple and flexible, it rolled and unrolled well and felt very good on my skin, that cork grip really is incredible and nothing else beats it. Beneath that the base material is a very rubbery sort of black backing with a grooved texture that grips the floor firmly without sliding around. Compared to other mats I have owned the backing on this is quite soft, but very "rubbery" and I think it has more of a feeling of being tough and long lasting, than absolutely soft and supportive.The blocks are large and completely solid with a pleasing weight and "thunk" to them. The edges are smooth, there was very little roughness or stray cork fibers that needed rubbing with my hands before using them. I would say these felt a hint more "sandy" than "smooth" as compared to the cork bricks I was using before, but they performed just as well and weren't at all unpleasant to touch, even when gripping them firmly while balancing my weight on them.The straps are as tough as steel cables, practically, they are excellent! You get two different sizes/designs, and both proved reliable and rugged in assisting my stretching and balance. Unlike cheap stretchy bands these can be used even for powerful leg and twist stretches, though you have to adjust the slack manually since they have no stretch themselves. I think the weave on them was superb- really good texture for grip, but not rough or "rope-y" feeling at all.This set would be perfect as your first- you get nearly everything and it is all of a very high quality, performs admirably, and seems rugged and meant to serve you well for a long time. A seasoned "guru" might not be impressed here, but if this were my only set I would still be completely satisfied and use it every day. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a great starting set, or just a mind-blowing complete value!

This Yoga mat set is for the person that wants to treat themselves. It would also make a great gift for someone who is into Yoga.The Yoga mat came with two cork blocks, a mat carrying strap, and a strap for stretching.The Yoga mat has a rubber backing and is cork on the front. There are placement markings to guide you with posing. This is definitely a premium mat. There is a strap for carrying the mat and it is well made with double stitched webbing and metal hardware. The stretching strap is a good woven webbing with metal D-rings. Finally, the blocks are cork. The advertisement says they are wider, but I found them to be the same size as the ones I already have that are made with some sort of plastic molded foam. I basically got the mat as a treat for myself. (I deserve it, after all! LOL).PROSDefinite premium material (cork). Feels really nice in your hands.Blocks are very stable.The mat is thicker than a regular mat (or at least thicker than my other mat which I would call typical).Natural surface and natural colors.The mat lays flat!Straps are well made.All metal hardwarePlacement markings pre-printed on the mat.CONSThis mat is heavier than my other mats (by quite a noticeable difference). I probably would not carry this to a class.Unsure how the cork will wear.I’ve only been able to use the mat a couple times since I got it, but already I’m loving it. Maybe it’s because my other mat didn’t have them, and I’m not used to them being there yet. I really love the cork blocks. Just touching them makes my workout feel better. Sometimes I think you need to make your space “feel good” so you enjoy your time while using it; and therefore it doesn’t seem like a chore. The stretching strap is nicely made, but I haven’t found myself grabbing for it. I have another one I (sometimes) use. I’ll probably still keep my other Yoga mat for class, but this cork mat is definitely my pick for in home use.I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to treat themselves to an upgrade. Just be warned that the mat and blocks are a bit heavier than other mats and blocks. (If you’re going to carry it, just figure it’s a little weight training on the way to class)! (ha ha). Overall, I would give the set a 5 stars and I would recommend it.

Much better quality than expected!

What appealed to me most was the inclusion of the blocks as I've been having a hard time finding something of the approximate size to rest my arm as I recover from an injured shoulder. The yoga mat is something I thought my partner would appreciate more as our pups have trod over her foam yoga mat and left indentations in places from their claws.I am pleased to report for both that the quality is remarkable. So far she has remarked that the mat itself shows no marks from the dogs, doesn't slip at all, and has felt very comfortable during her workouts.I have used the blocks a bit and they feel very durable and have some heft to them. The cork gives them a soft feel while staying rigid. I cannot attest to them as to how they would be used in actual yoga and my partner does not yet do any exercises that may incorporate them but I would guess they would serve the purpose well.As for the straps, the carry strap for the mat is a high-quality strap with a dense canvas weave and the ends are sewn and reinforced by rivets. It has a super-nice feel to it.The stretch strap, on the other hand, feels and seems a little basic. I have rolls of the same material I have used for craft purposes before and there's nothing particularly special about it. If you are looking for an all-in-one yoga starter kit, I can see how it may be of benefit but it seems like something just thrown in and not at the same quality as everything else. I've looked online at other straps and would judge this to just be of average quality.
