Hemp & Organic Cotton Yoga Blanket

My wife is a yoga instructor and she said that she's never heard of a 'yoga blanket'. Of course, she wanted to give it a shot since she loves new equipment. Since she's super demanding of her equipment I was surprised at how much she likes it. Sure, you don't *need* it for yoga though it might be helpful in certain situations (eg: trying to do poses on a hardwood floor). That said, it's a very nice blanket. It's soft, made from organic cotton and really attractive. It's the perfect weight for a bit of extra warmth. Yoga or not, this is a nice blanket. Highly recommended!

This is high quality and practical. What more could one want? It feels really lux and is a more pleasant experience than using a typical yoga mat.

Very soft and comfortable for yoga and other exercise

The first reason we chose this blanket is because my wife will only use organic cotton. We are quite pleased to find the quality of this blanket when we opened it was really good. The blanket is an amp size and could be used for yoga or just cuddling on the couch. It doesn't feel terribly soft when you first open it, but after the first wash, you can really fill the softness of the cotton. There's a small fringe border that makes it a little more decoratively interestingand the friends is short enough not to tangle upon itself like many blankets. The weave and the stitching seem to be accurate and good quality so the blanket should hold up to years of use. Great value.

After machine wash and dry on warm, this blanket is incredibly soft and cozy. A bit on the thin side but will work well for either a throw on a cool day or a yoga blanket under your mat or folded as a bolster.

I have this yoga blanket side by side with the loom made serrape (Mexican style) blanket. They're both yoga blankets but one is refined and beautiful the other is beautiful in a coarse/gritty sort of way. I'm just about to finish my 200 hour certification to teach, so this stuff is important to me.If this blanket was an actress it would probably be Bridget Mooynahan, like she was in Lord of War. Opulent, dripping money.The material is a tight weave for a Yoga blanket. It lays super flat and has very little squish to it. I prefer this in my practice because the blanket stays more in the shape I put it in. When using props/blankets I don't want them to conform to me, they are there to support/supplement me.The fringe and weave are both finer than the standard serrape style because they begin with a smaller thread.I see criticism that it is scratchy and I just don't feel that at all.This is a very very giftable blanket for any Yogi because it is impressive the moment you pick it up.

The hefty weight of this blanket was surprising, it’s so cozy and soft, perfect for relaxing on the mat or on the couch. It’s larger than I anticipated too! It washed well but did shed a huge amount of lint in the washer and dryer - for this reason I suggest washing it by itself. It came out of the dryer even softer. A great cozy throw.

It arrived, and my wife decided to take it on a cruise over all our other ground blankets we have.That says something good.We like the feel, we like how it looks, it does good spread out on grass and even on sand. Shakes out pretty easy.Recommended!
