Ultimate Cork Yoga Essentials Kit: Large Mat with Alignment Lines, Blocks, Strap & Carry Strap

This kit comes with everyone one could possibly need starting out doing yoga. The main mat is comfortable without being too plushy (I found it hard to hold poses with the thicker kind). The material is durable and I know will last a very long time. I'm very glad to know that this yoga mat won't roll back into itself once rolled out and bunch up - that was frustrating with my last yoga mat. Also, having the centering markers is awesome, as with poses I was always concerned if I was at just the right angles.I love the included d ring, strap and cork blocks too. It really makes it easier to feel confident and actually relax my body into a pose using the cork blocks. They are very high quality made - the whole kit is. I would recommend this 10/10 it's an excellent value.

This is an incredible set for getting into superior-performing and environmentally-friendly cork yoga accessories. You get a really nice mat, a set of two very solid and pleasing bricks, and some incredibly tough woven straps that should last basically forever.The mat is 6-feet long, tall enough for most people to lie down fully, though not everyone, and although its 26-inch width is a little slimmer than some it was enough for me to use quite comfortably. The cork layer itself is thin but supple and flexible, it rolled and unrolled well and felt very good on my skin, that cork grip really is incredible and nothing else beats it. Beneath that the base material is a very rubbery sort of black backing with a grooved texture that grips the floor firmly without sliding around. Compared to other mats I have owned the backing on this is quite soft, but very "rubbery" and I think it has more of a feeling of being tough and long lasting, than absolutely soft and supportive.The blocks are large and completely solid with a pleasing weight and "thunk" to them. The edges are smooth, there was very little roughness or stray cork fibers that needed rubbing with my hands before using them. I would say these felt a hint more "sandy" than "smooth" as compared to the cork bricks I was using before, but they performed just as well and weren't at all unpleasant to touch, even when gripping them firmly while balancing my weight on them.The straps are as tough as steel cables, practically, they are excellent! You get two different sizes/designs, and both proved reliable and rugged in assisting my stretching and balance. Unlike cheap stretchy bands these can be used even for powerful leg and twist stretches, though you have to adjust the slack manually since they have no stretch themselves. I think the weave on them was superb- really good texture for grip, but not rough or "rope-y" feeling at all.This set would be perfect as your first- you get nearly everything and it is all of a very high quality, performs admirably, and seems rugged and meant to serve you well for a long time. A seasoned "guru" might not be impressed here, but if this were my only set I would still be completely satisfied and use it every day. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a great starting set, or just a mind-blowing complete value!
