Organic & Eco-Friendly Cotton Yoga Mat

I love this mat. it gives a completely grounded, earthy experience.

This mat is listed as black, yet it is very navy blue. Other than that, I didn't open it, but it appeared well made. Probably would have loved it if the color was accurate.

I wanted to find something that was non-toxic for me and friendly for the environment and lo and behold I found this incredible mat! It’s a great value for your money considering it’s your health! It doesn’t slip during my practice at home (on a rug on top of wood floors) it might slip on a hard wood floor but I haven’t tried it so I can’t say for sure. The mat itself is really thick which I love since that means it’s more cushy for me and will be more durable in the long run. Wonderful yoga mat 10/10 recommend especially if you are looking into non-toxic belongings!

I adore this yoga mat. For years I wanted an all natural yoga mat that I could use on grass. I like the dark color to minimize the appearance of stains. Has a great weight and worth every cent. Be aware of your footing since this doesn't have the same grip of a regular mat.

I like the item well made. I use it on top of a squishy mat that the gym provides. Think of it as a nice throw rug without a backing. Easy to transport.

Love this mat! This is the first one I ever bought. Works nicely with my cork mat. Not too thick or thin. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on the color and design. Great purchase.

I like it but it’s thin and does not have a lot of grip. I should have invested more.

I like this as an alternative to the rubber mat I was using. This absorbs my sweat some and while it does move around a bit more, I'm getting used to dealing with that. I like how it feels against my skin as well. It does wash up well too.

The fabric is cotton, but it is not a soft cotton, rather pretty rough coarse one. It leaves marks on hands when doing exercises. I tried a bunch and would recommend instead the Kosmoh brand (costs more but you get what you pay for) that is a bit thicker (8mm vs 5mm) and much softer and still has good grip (even better actually, since it doesn't hurt to put your hands on the mat).

I wanted a washable mat that did not smell like plastic. This is perfect! might need another mat underneat though because there is not much cushion here.

My last time yoga mat came from a very well-known work out brand and it smelled so strongly of chemicals. I wanted something organic and natural with a good vibration that could deepen my practice instead of distracting from it. This mat is gorgeous! It’s high quality, woven tightly with cotton, has beautiful colors and feels nice on your skin. I want to purchase more and have a feeling going back to conventional mats would be difficult.

This is a perfectly sustainable, environmentally friendly mat for your yoga practice. the only drawback is that it doesn't always stay in place because it doesn't have any grip.

Nothing wrong with the mat per-se. Quality was good. The part I didn't anticipate is that doing downward dog, my feet slip on the mat. If someone can come up with a mat made of natural fibers that is also no-slip, I'd want one.

So soft. Not thick enough for me on hard floors, so I make a fold when needed for my knees, but still a much better experience than using traditional yoga mats. I didn't expect to say this, but it's true that it smells great and that it makes practicing yoga a little nicer. I also like that it can be stored flat. I might get a second one to solve the thickness/hard floors issue.

Looking back, I don't know how we all were trained to use either foam or rubber for yoga. It's yoga, not weights or rope skipping. Your body will be coming in contact with the mat. You wear cotton clothes, not rubber/foam, right? Why shouldn't your yoga mat also be cotton?Yeah, this was a new concept to me, but long overdue. I feel sort of like I've been drinking fruit drink all my life and someone unexpectedly handed me a glass of fruit juice.After using this yoga mat you will no longer want to ever use a foam or rubber mat again for yoga.

This feels special. I've had many of the cheaper foam/plastic feeling mats that start to fall apart because of my cat's claws.This hand-loomed mat feels like love and care went into it. Because it is made with cotton it can go in the wash (gentle cycle, cold water), but I'm gross and don't wash it after every use. I just give it a little disinfecting spray.Also, for grip and because I use this at home, I just put it right over my carpet instead of on the tile. I don't have the slipping/sliding issues with this on the carpet.

it's true. this is the type of yoga mat i had always envied from my older peers who all had them. a ribbed cotton yoga mat that could be theoretically hand-washed or cold machine washed. head into old skool in style.it's also true that before all the newfangled synthetic material technology in yoga mat gear that continues to flood the market with varying degrees of success -- was a simple cotton or jute yoga mat, much like this, for folks doing yoga (like waking up at dawn, eating three meals a day, sleeping at night) in india, back when normal wasn't a world craze.yoga doesn't have to be a world craze. it has a ton of good no matter what degree of crazed you are, and it's great for making sense of the world and yourself. the KISS philosophy also pertains to this mat. back to organic basics. feels good in the hand and on the feet. 5 stars.

I bought this mat after researching more than I cared to..there’s so many choices it’s overwhelming..bought it bc of the reviews even though I wasn’t feeling the color lolLet me tell you I cannot believe the difference an organic, quality mat makes while working out..I can actually feel the love this was made with ♥️I wish it came in a larger size..I will be ordering more!
